Juan José

Juan José is a Science Fiction, Steampunk Science Fiction, and Historical Fiction author and artist whose work seamlessly blends rich storytelling with visually captivating artwork. With a passion for world-building and narrative craft, he brings to life intricate stories through both words and visual art.

Currently, he is developing an epic eight-part Steampunk Science Fiction novella series—a collection that traces the evolution of steampunk technology, from the age of steam, coal, and wood to high-tech advancements and space travel. This ambitious project spans the entire fictional history of steampunk innovation, offering readers a deep, immersive journey through time and technology.

He created all the illustrations for his published works, including the cover art and chapter art for each chapter. His love for creating visually compelling imagery extends beyond writing—he designs art pieces that inspire, tell stories, and stand as works of art in their own right.

Happily married and currently residing in Mérida, Mexico, Juan José finds peace in cultivating a lush garden of taro, avocado, and native Mexican trees. When he is not writing or illustrating, he is exploring the intersection of imagination and craftsmanship—always building, always creating.
